Angi Morton

My husband and I have been married for over 20 years and have three children; Jake , Ellie , and Collin. We have lived in the Colorado Springs area for 25 years and recently moved to the Palmer Lake area.
I love staying physically active, listening to music, and reading books (historical fiction is my favorite genre) when I'm not being a taxi driver for our youngest son--haha!

My Classroom Experiences

I started working at Calvary Preschool in August of 2012 when our youngest was starting kindergarten. Prior to that, I worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with Disabled Veterans.

I love working at Calvary because it gives me the opportunity to help kids learn in a fun and faith-based environment, while also providing me with the flexibility needed to meet my family's needs as well. This year I get to work as the P.E. and Chapel Teacher, which paired my interests and passions perfectly!

A Few of My Favorite Things

I'm not a huge movie buff, but some of my favorites are "Money Pit," "Planes, Trains and Automobiles," and "Rocky IV."
Favorite foods: I love pizza and Mexican food.
My favorite Bible verse: " 'For I know the plans I have for you,' says the Lord. 'They are plans for good and not disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'" Jeremiah 29:11
This verse has resonated with me the most over the past several years. Our family has weathered many storms and this verse has brought me peace and hope through all of it.
