Mallory Schlichting

I am a Colorado native and even attended Calvary Preschool when I was little! I have been married for seven years and I have two beautiful daughters. Harper is my spunky three year old. Emma is my sweet baby who just turned one. My hobbies these days mostly involve cleaning up after my girls, organizing, spending time with my family and occasionally getting some time to go shopping with my mom.

I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2013 and spent two years working at a foster care agency here in town. I left the social work sector to pursue my love for the service industry. I spent the next five years working at the Broadmoor Hotel as a server and then restaurant supervisor. After I had my youngest daughter, I knew I needed to answer the call and return to working with children.

Why I Love Teaching Preschool

My heart has always been lead to work with children. I believe that what children need most during their preschool years is to be loved and treasured for who they are, while also cultivating an environment for them to discover and learn new things about themselves. I am so honored and excited to be a part of the journey of self-discovery these children are taking. I can't wait to share the love of Jesus with them, too!

My favorite Bible verse: "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)
This verse has helped me through many hard times in my life. It is a great reminder that in this world we will go through hard times, but that we can have peace knowing that God has already won the war and overcome the world. It really puts things into perspective!
